Upon Completion of this course will allow you to demonstrate to prospective employers that you are a leader in your field and are capable of creative and original thinking. The DBA will prepare you for a rewarding high -level career in a variety of areas, including Executive Management etc The programme will enable the students to obtain jobs as Executive Managers in either English - speaking or multinational companies, particularly those interested in the European markets, or joint venture companies in the students' home country. Suitable for: Candidates should normally possess a Masters degree in Business Administration or a related area. Candidates with a Masters degree in a different area may be admitted if they have extensive management experience. Candidates whose native language is not English must speak English well enough to follow the courses efficiently and write their thesis in English
About this course
You should already have a Masters degree in Business or a related area. Candidates with a Masters degree in another area may be admitted if they also have substantial management experience. The Degree does not need to be particularly subject related as long as the students previous statement reflects his/her needs for change, no work experience is required

The DBA is a Professional Doctorate programme which offers students the opportunity to study a comprehensive postgraduate curriculum in Business Administration, specialising in Entrepreneurship and Branding. The DBA is an ideal preparation for those who wish to launch and run their own business or take up advanced leadership positions in business, government or the public or private sector.
The IELTS requirement for this course us 6.5 or equivalent (CEFR B2). Students taught in English for a period of 5 years can be exempt from this requirement.
The course is taught over a three year period. The first year consists of six intensive taught courses in various aspects of Entrepreneurship and Branding. The second year commences with courses in Research Methodologies and Writing a Thesis and remainder of the year is devoted to carrying out research and producing a thesis, under the guidance of one of our Doctoral Supervisors. The thesis can be submitted any time after the completion of the second year
