Dog Grooming for Pet Owners
Throughout the year we hold special 2 day seminars on "how to groom your
own pet" for popular breeds. Please check the course availability on the

Each course is from 09.30 on the Saturday morning to 3.30pm on the Sunday
afternoon.
Your trainers for the course are Chris Gough and Caroline
Catchpole, who will take you through each stage of how to groom your pet.
On the first day there is "an introduction to grooming seminar" including
getting used to the equipment you will need to do the job. How best to
maintain your dog in perfect condition. You will practice using the
clippers, scissors, brushes and combs, so that you will able to produce a
professional finish.
You will be taught how to use the correct
canine shampoo for your dog and where necessary which conditioner to use.
You will be instructed on how to deal with fleas, ticks and lice and how
to deal with glands and your pets nails.
On day two you will get
"hands on" experience on how to groom your own dog.
The
2-day seminar costs £293.75 inc vat . This includes the use of all our
equipment, drinks throughout the two days and a light lunch.
We
have for sale all items of equipment should you decide to buy from us. The
seminars start at 09.30 and finish at 3.30pm with a 45 minute break for
lunch. We can arrange accommodation locally for you and you need to bring
your own pet with you to the seminar. Your pet should be of a trimmed
breed, have at least eight weeks hair growth and must be totally knot
free when you bring it. ( dogs with knots will take up valuable
learning time meaning that you will not have time to complete your pet.)
The
total cost of the Weekend training is £293.75 including vat. To book the
course please download the booking form from our website and return it
together with a 20% deposit which is £58.75, this will secure your place.
By return post you will receive our confirmation pack. 21 days before your
course date you will be sent an invoice for the balance of your fees.
