Course programme

10-day Course, Leading to ACS Assessment

The course is designed to run one day per week over 10 weeks. It is divided into sections covering both theory and practical applications. Candidates are required to complete home study exercises during the course. The course concludes with individual candidate pre-assessments, following which candidates will be advised of their suitability to undertake ACS Assessment(s).

While the course will provide candidates with the background knowledge and specific understanding relevant to the ACS Assessment(s), completion of the course does not guarantee successful achievement in the assessment; this is solely dependent on the candidate’s ability to prove his/her competence.

All candidates need to gain relevant on-the-job experience under supervision of a CORGI registered installer prior to undertaking any ACS assessment. The ACS assessments not included in this training course. Candidates must meet current CORGI requirements to gain CORGI registration.

This course is not suitable for new entrants, as relevant previous experience is required.
