Qualification Achieved
Level 2, Certificate for Domestic Electrical Installers Incorporating the requirements for electrical safety (Part P) of the building regulations.
Training Method
Classroom based delivery with written and practical exercise. Assessment is a multiple choice questions answered on a computer along with ongoing practical and written assessments.
The course can be used as a stepping stone to enable you to become a registered competent person, on completion of the 17th Edition course.
The course has been developed in partnership with the Electrical Contractors' Association (ECA) and the National Inspection Council for Electrical Installations (NICEIC) and is recognised by all competent contractor schemes.

- Domestic Electrical Earthing and Bonding Requirements.
- Electrical Test Procedures.
- Selecting Domestic Electrical Cable and Components.
- Installing and replacing Electrical Components.
- Checking the Correct and Safe Operation of Installed Components.
- Recording of Electrical Test Results and Completing Certificates.
- Installing and/or Rerouting Domestic Electrical Components.
- Domestic Electrical Installation-Special Locations.
- Understanding of New Domestic Electrical Circuit Requirements.
- Installing Domestic Lighting and Power Circuits.
