Content / Overview:
If you're interested in developing drama and theatre skills, this challenging course is for you. There is a strong emphasis on practical performance work. Your analytical skills will develop through exploring play texts and theatre styles in the College's performance studio and through numerous theatre visits. Assessment is by practical performance work, coursework and a written exam at the end of A2 only. You should be energetic, enjoy working with others and have a sense of fun and curiosity. You should relish the discipline of production work, whether as an actor, designer or technician. The course will provide you with a range of transferable skills, much valued in the working world. You will gain increased confidence and improve your skills in communication, creativity, analysis, decision-making, and ability to work effectively in a team.

University or drama schools or careers in the performing arts.
