Course programme

Overview

If you’d like to be able to produce work showing the basic skills and knowledge in painting and drawing, this course is for you.

The course will cover the techniques used in painting and drawing. Learn about the colour wheel and the relationships between colours. You will develop skills in the use of line, tone, shape, colour and composition.

Basic resourses will be provided at your first class but students will find it useful to purchase their own items over time - such as a cartridge sketchbook and pencils, charcoal, ink pen, watercolour paints and possibly acrylics - particularly for any outdoor lessons.
