Prerequisites

  • It would be useful if delegates had experience of navigating the Internet and websites.
  • To ensure success, delegates must have a basic understanding of their computer's operating system.
  • Delegates should know how to launch an application, create and save files, and copy files from CDs and other media.

Objectives

    Delegates will be able to :
  • Create a new web page that contains images, demonstrating the importance of setting the correct image properties
  • Create a new web page containing columns of text and images and demonstrate how to position them easily on the page.
  • Navigate easily around your website without using the back button on the browser.
  • Create and use a Dreamweaver template to control the layout and consistency of websites.
  • Upload a site to a remote Live Web server.
  • Define a new site within Dreamweaver and explain the basic issues concerning proper site design.
  • Create a basic web page and manipulate basic text through the use of style sheets.
