Information about the course

Extend your sewing skills and learn how to make a more complex garment. This could be a tailored jacket, boned evening dress, trousers or a lined skirt.

Choice of interfacings

Selecting and making up a garment from a pattern, if you don't want to make a tailored garment you could make any other garment of your choice.

Garments are made from a commercial pattern.

The course content may vary and/or be adapted to meet the needs of the students and to meet the individual tutor teaching.

Additionality

You will need to bring to the first class:- Your sewing equipment, scissors, needles, pins, thread, tape measure etc and a pattern.

Advice will be given in the first lesson regarding pattern choice and fabric

Some basic items are available from college at a non-profit making cost

The course content may vary according to which tutor is teaching this course, also the content may be adapted to meet the needs of the class.

Payment options: UK/EU Fee : £100.00 Overseas Fee : £160.00 Part-time enrolments are subject to an additional annual registration fee of £10 payable once only per academic year (exemptions may apply).
