'DRIVER CPC' TRAIN THE TRAINER (PCV/LGV) This new 5-day course provides comprehensive training on all the requirements to become an approved trainer and is aimed at those hoping to become a trainer for the introduction of Driver CPC for PCV (2008) and LGV in September 2009 This Novadata Driver CPC course covers drivers hours law, analogue and digital tachograph legislation, compliance, and presentation skills. Participants will become City &Guilds accredited and be qualified to train others within their own and other organisations. (Please note City & Guilds Certification Registration is included in the price) Participants will also obtain, if required, one day Driver CPC attendance only for PCV until 10th September 2009 then it will be available for PCV & LGV Course Aim: •To develop trainer instructional and presentational skills. •To ensure they have the knowledge and understanding to deliver effective driver CPC Courses. •To help transport businesses meet demanding new training requirements, by coaching people within the industry to deliver their own courses. •To provide guidance on the design and delivery of effective training. Course Content: •Knowledge and understanding of Driver CPC Syllabus. •Understanding modern instructional techniques and how adults learn. •Classroom presentational skills and multi media equipment. •Effective group and individual exercises. •How people learn •Planning training sessions •JAUPT requirements •Tachograph Legislation •Delivering courses •Controlling groups •Drivers hours law and practice •Digital tachograph operation •Questioning skills •Vocal coaching •Presentations Outcomes: •Each delegate will finish the course with a complete delivery pack for one specific CPC program. •Delegates will have the resources / capability to deliver Novadata's approved programs. •All participants will receive a certificate of attendance and competency from approved instructors. •Video records of practice presentations will be issued for post training analysis and improvement. •Delegates will acquire knowledge and practice the basics of group coaching and learning. Course Objectives: By the end of the course you will be able to; •Deliver and design your own training programs •Run a drivers hours and/or digital tachograph course •Confidently communicate in front of groups •Evaluate and continuously improve your training sessions •Constructively share your knowledge with work colleagues •Identify your preferred style of training for effective presenting. Please note that whilst Novadata will supply you with the knowledge and understanding of Driver CPC, each candidate's company will have to obtain JAUPT approval for their centre and any course they are intending to deliver.
