The course intends to enhance students’ knowledge of drugs, their use and misuse, provide a basis for individuals to develop increased social awareness, assist in the support for the relevant government policy through an educational model, provide students with knowledge in relation to health issues surrounding the use and misuse of different types of drugs and other substances and provide the student with the basic drug knowledge required to progress to a higher-level qualification.

ASSESSMENT

Completing a series of tutor marked assignments together with a multiple-choice questionnaire will lead you to the highly acclaimed Certificate in Drugs Awareness.

This course leads to a Level 2 Award for successful learners. This means that it is independently accredited at a level of learning equivalent to level 2 on the National Qualifications Framework (NQF) for England, Wales and Northern Ireland (in which case GCSE's are at levels 1 and 2 and A Levels are at level 3).
