Course Aim
This course is designed to train and assess operatives in the safe operation of forward tipping dumpers and site safety while using the equipment and also carrying out pre start and stop checks prior to use.
Course Content
- The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974
- Provision of Use and Work Equipment Regulations
- Other current relevant regulations
- Accident report systems
- Personal protective equipment
- Safe use of forward tipping dumpers
- Site safety (ground conditions, excavators etc)
- Practical exercises, with use of banksman if required
- Oral questioning
