Early Years Educator (including First Aid) CACHE Diploma Level 3

The qualification is broken down into four themes taught over the two years These are: health & wellbeing; legislation, frameworks and professional practice; play, development and learning for school readiness; and professional development

Assessment will consist of: practical assessment in the workplace; a portfolio of assignment work, reflective accounts and professional discussions; practical activities; a 'long' study (carried out over several months); a short answer exam; a reflective study; and an extended essay

This qualification will enable you to gain a job as an early years educator, or go onto Higher Education (UCAS confirm maximum allocation of 280 points at A* to the Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education)

You will need GCSE English and Maths at Grade C or above (if you want to go on to Primary Teaching you'll also require Science at grade C or above) plus two grade Cs in other subjects

Places will be subject to a DBS Enhanced disclosure (carried out by the College prior to your start) This qualification is for under 19s only
