Course review:

The 12hr course is an in depth course covering Incident management, Record Keeping, Priorities of first aid, Treatment of unconscious Child, resuscitation of baby, child and an adult, Control of bleeding, Fractures, and soft tissue damage, burns and scalds, poisons, head injuries, nose bleeds, Asphyxiation, Asthma, Choking, baby, child and adult, Anaphylactic shock, Epilepsy, Infantile convulsions, low blood sugar, all of the above information.

It also covers other Medical conditions such as Meningitis, Sickle Cell, Croup and many more. The extension on the course allows for more "hands on" practice. Throughout the course the students are also shown video/power point presentations, this enhances the knowledge and understanding of the topics covered.

A twelve hour first aid course is the only course recommended for Childminders, Nursery Nurses, Foundation School Staff and Nannies. Our course meets the requirements of Ofsted for all Childcare Practitioners. On Successful completion of this course the candidate is awarded with a nationally recognised qualification valid for three years
