ECDL Advanced

The ECDL Advanced qualification is designed to progress the computer skills from the European Computer Driving Licence® (ECDL) to the next level of competence. It tests an individual's competence at a much higher level with particular applications.

Content:
The Advanced ECDL is modular and a certificate is awarded for successfully passing a test for each module. Currently in the UK, ECDL Advanced is split into 4 modules:

• Word Processing
  
• Spreadsheets
  
• Database
  
• Presentation
  

Qualifications and Progression
: The Advanced ECDL is modular and a certificate is awarded for successfully passing a test for each module. Candidates who have successfully completed all four ECDL Advanced modules may apply for the ECDL Expert Certificate . With ECDL Expert, candidates are eligible for: Associate Membership of the British Computer Society (AMBCS), guaranteed entry to HNC Information Technology with Management Skills, guaranteed entry to HNC Computing.
