Anyone whose career aims include working in business can benefit from the study of economics. The course content is divided into 2 broad areas of micro and macro economics. In the former category are such elements as consumer behaviour, production, markets, costs, industrial location, privatisation and labour markets; in the latter, elements such as inflation, unemployment, international trade, financial markets and economic growth are studied

Progression:
Higher education degree in economics, mathematics, geography, accounting, international business, combined with languages etc.
