Course programme
BSc Economics
Mode: full-time
In the first two years of our single honours Economics programme, you will cover a core of macroeconomics, microeconomics and the quantitative techniques used in economic analysis and investigation. Final-year options enable you to apply this core knowledge to a variety of more specialised areas such as labour economics, industrial economics, health economics, financial economics, business cycles and so on. Some of your work will be computerintensive, using networked terminals in the School's computer laboratories.
Course structure
In each year, L100 students should normally take at least six out of their eight courses in Economics. Students should normally take all courses listed in the L100 pathway, and must normally pass all core courses in order to obtain the L100 degree.
