About this course

Students who have previously studied a design course should note that the failure to achieve a B grade at GCSE or a good pass at BTEC First in Art and Design will mean that you will struggle to meet the demands of the BTEC National Award course in Art and Design (3D Design). Students with no previous experience of the subject but with a strong interest and aptitude in this area will not be discouraged from applying and will receive additional support in the early stages of the course. However it is essential that departmental staffs are consulted regarding your suitability for the course.
