Susan Ashman
Susan Ashman qualified in 1980 as a fashion designer at the Southend College of Art & Design.
On finishing the course she joined the famous costumiers (and the worlds largest) Angels of London. There quickly followed a private commission to refurbish the upholstery and antique drapes in an Arts & Crafts house. This
sealed Susan's fate, she had now discovered her 'passion and vocation'. With her flair for Design and Fashion of all periods, combined with a love for history and heritage Renaissance Interior Design was born.
Susan's ethos is to guide her client's through the process of refurbishment & decoration with patience and research. ‘The period detail within a historical house takes you on a fascinating and delightful journey, as the house reveals its secrets', says Susan who delivers comfortable home living with a timeless finish.
Susan Ashman has been selected by the Brympton House Trust to oversee the refurbishment of the interior of Brympton House.
