Course outline
Candidates will:
  • Gain an understanding of the legal requirements and guidelines for moving and handling.
  • Gain an understanding of the prevalence of back pain, and musculo skeletal disorders (MSDs)
  • Have the knowledge and practical skills to carry out basic moving and handling tasks within the workplace.
  • Be able to use a variety of handling aids from slide sheets to hoists.
