“A great start in using English grammar”
The course will help you to improve your English grammar, both in speaking and writing.
On this course you will learn how to use some of the most common English verbs, nouns and pronouns, adjectives, adverbs, conjunctions, articles and prepositions in writing and in spoken language. You will learn how to write simple sentences with correct word order in English.
You will learn to notice and correct any grammatical patterns or errors in your English.
You need to already be able to express yourself in spoken English, for example, in straightforward conversations with a range of vocabulary.

Course programme
This course will help you to improve your accuracy with English grammar in your speaking and writing.
On this course you will learn how to use some of the most common English verbs, nouns and pronouns, adjectives, adverbs, conjunctions, articles and prepositions in writing and in spoken language. You will learn how to write simple sentences with correct word order in English.
You will practise speaking English using correct grammar to express yourself more fluently.
You will practise writing simple sentences and straightforward texts using correct grammar, language and vocabulary for different purposes.
You will be given the opportunity to use websites to help with your English grammar and to use the college intranet system, Moodle.
Assessment Methods:
There is no exam on this course. Your teacher will check your progress in speaking and writing on the course and give you advice on how to improve.
