Apprenticeships are designed by employers for employers and are tailored to meet the needs of each specific sector. An apprenticeship will allow you to get qualified, get paid and get a career all in one go! If you are interested in a career within the Electrical industry, the Electrotechnical Apprenticeship will combine on-the-job training (with an Electrical work placement) and college-based activities, which will help you gain the knowledge in order for you to achieve your goal. Weymouth College has a purpose-built electrical training workshop facility, which simulates a domestic/commercial/industrial trade working environment. All of our lecturers and assessors have worked in the industry prior to joining the College and have up-to-date qualifications relevant to the trade.
