Who is this course for?
This Apprenticeship is available at Advanced level and allows you to study towards a recognised qualification whilst in paid employment. Applicants to this Apprenticeship could be a mix of age and experience. As a guide, applicants may come from a range of routes including: work or work experience training and/or experience which could include a portfolio showing what you have done, Intermediate Apprenticeship, vocational or academic qualification(s).
What other experience will I gain?
This Apprenticeship provides the skills and knowledge required to become a qualified electrician. The programme is primarily aimed at those who are working in the electrical contracting industry or have been offered an Apprenticeship in electrical installation or maintenance. Successful candidates with the qualifications necessary to join the JIB Electrotechnical Certification Scheme (formerly the JIB UK Register of Electricians).
