The Programme
This course is for people who wish to enter the electrical installation, contracting or associated industries and who aim to progress to a full Advanced Modern Apprenticeship when a work placement is found, or who wish to progress onto higher electrical studies such as ONC or HNC.
The programme covers electrical installation theory and regulations, as well as a wide range of practical skills associated with electrical work including Inspection and Testing of electrical Installations, together
The Programme Content
The programme covers electrical installation theory and regulations, as well as a wide range of practical skills associated with electrical work including Inspection and Testing of electrical Installations, together with the associated theory and science. It is split into individual modules which are tested by a range of multi choice exams and practical assessments. Key Skills at the appropriate level are a mandatory part of the course content for students under 19.
Progression / Careers
The units and full qualifications can be used as the technical certificate requirement at Level 3 for a Electrical Advanced Modern Apprenticeship, or for progression onto higher studies.
