The Advanced Apprenticeship in Electrotechnical Installation is an in-depth, practical course for anyone working within the industryWe believe the future of research lies in breaking down traditional barriers between academic disciplines so the bigger problems of the 21st century can be considered from human as well as physical perspectives. Course programme

You will work towards a framework of qualifications which make up the Apprenticeship including the level 3 NVQ Diploma and AM2. The NVQ Diploma shows your competence, knowledge and understanding of business tasks and procedures, and proves you are able to carry out your job to a defined standard. You will cover: Applying Health and Safety legislation and working practices Applying environmental legislation, working practices and the principles of environmental technology systems Overseeing and organising the work environment Planning, preparing and installing wiring systems and associated equipment in buildings, structures and the environment Terminating and connecting conductors, cables and flexible cords in electrical systems Inspection, testing, commissioning and certifying electro-technical systems and equipment
