EMERGENCY FIRST AID FOR THE APPOINTED PERSON (1 Day - 9.30am - 4.30pm)
Book On-site training nationwide or join our open courses in Sussex & London
The minimum requirement for an employer is to appoint a person to take charge of the First Aid arrangements. This includes looking after the equipment and facilities and calling the emergency services when required. Arrangements should be made for an Appointed Person to be available to undertake these duties at all times when people are at work.
The course programme is designed for individuals who wish to gain knowledge of emergency procedures and attain a recognised qualification in First Aid. By the end of the course, candidates will be able to demonstrate the essential knowledge and skills needed to deal with life threatening emergencies in the workplace.
The course tutor will carry out an on-going assessment and all successful students will receive a certificate valid for a period of three years.
