Course: Emergency First Aid for the Appointed Persons
This course is ideal for smaller workplaces that present few health and safety risks where a nominated person is required to take charge in the event of illness or accident. Fully qualified First Aiders in larger organisations can also benefit from additional support from Appointed Persons.

Insight into Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations
Managing an incident
Priorities of First Aid
Resuscitation
Blood loss
Treatment of an unconscious casualty
Treatment of shock
General discussion on common workplace injuries
Program Duration: 6 hours
Assessment: Continuous assessment by trainer
Certificate: A certificate, valid for three years, is issued on successful completion of the course
