Emergency First Aid at Work

Training for the First Aider in a low hazard workplace.

This course is a lifesaver course, giving participants essential lifesaving emergency techniques. The 6-hour course covers dealing with incidents, calling for help, treatment of the unconscious casualty, CPR techniques, dealing with bleeding, contents of a first aid kit and medical emergencies.

The new Emergency First Aid at Work course was introduced by the HSE on October 1st 2009. First Aid Academy has been involved with the development and trailing of this course. The HSE has developed this training course to replace the longer First Aid at Work course in low hazard environments.
