Course summary A short full day course

Course description
This is a one day Health & Safety Executive approved training course held in Thurso. It provides the theoretical and practical training which will enable successful candidates to be emergency first aiders in their workplaces. A copy of the latest Emergency First Aid at Work booklet will be provided. Candidates have to retake the course every three years to retain their qualification.

The course content includes: Responsibilities of an Appointed Person, Principle and practice of first aid; Management of the unconscious casualty; Cardio-pulminary resuscitation; Treatment of shock; ABC and sending for help; Breathing for others; Management of blood loss.
