Gain the qualification needed to have the ability to provide emergency first aid to a person who is injured or falls ill at work. The minimum legal requirement is to appoint a person to take charge of first aid in the workplace – an ‘Appointed Person’. This person has charge of the first aid box and will be responsible for calling emergency responders if a person becomes ill or injured at work. There is no legal requirement for the Appointed Person to be trained in first aid, but it is clearly best practice if they are. This course can teach 12 students at a time.
