To give candidates with existing basic first aid experience enhanced knowledge and skills in order to enable them to operate in environments where there is an enhanced risk combined with delayed response time for the emergency services due to remote locations. Suitable for: Non clinical persons requiring advanced first aid training, particularly with regards to working in remote and / or high risk environments.

About this course
Candidates must have hold a valid HSE FAW certificate to enrol on the course. Candidates will be subject to ongoing assessment throughout the course and must achieve core competencies during final assessment to be succesfull.

5 day course, delivered with a combination of practical exercises in the hostile coastal environment at the centre and classroom theory sessions. Four days of tuition culminating in a final assessment day.This award is an in house qualification and is not accredited with a governing body.
