Employment Skills

This course is aimed at young people, the unemployed, and those facing or received redundancy to provide key skills and techniques to secure a job. The course will build confidence and provide effective techniques to increase the chances of getting the desired job.

The course covers:

• The impact of change; Recognising feelings and emotions
• Focusing on the future; Taking control and “making it happen”
• Defining abilities and strengths
• CV writing
• Selling yourself; Job search techniques. Psychometric analysis; Interview preparation, techniques in interviewing; using agencies and networking
• Setting Goals, targets and objectives, Action planning
• Exercises & Role plays.
