End of Life Care Level 3 has been designed especially for Distance Learning and for any health or social care worker who wishes to improve their knowledge and understanding of end of life care. It also has relevance to all types of care settings, including hospices, care homes, care in the community and primary care.
This course is also appropriate for those who have already achieved other sector-specific qualifications in the health care sector and need to apply their understanding in a palliative care context.
The course is designed to provide a comprehensive overview of the emotive issues surrounding death and dying. It will help learners to develop their knowledge and understanding of palliative care and its place within end of life care, along with the support services available to the individual and others.

End of Life Care Level 3 has been designed especially for Distance Learning and for any health or social care worker who wishes to improve their knowledge and understanding of end of life care.
You don't need any prior skills in the subject area to start this course.
At the end of this course, successful learners will receive a Level 3 NCFE certificate of achievement. That means that it is independently accredited at a level of learning equivalent to Level 3 on the National Qualifications Framework (NQF) for England, Wales and Northern Ireland. Accreditation by NCFE is a guarantee of quality. It means that this learning programme has been scrutinised and approved by an independent panel of experienced educational professionals and is quality audited biannually by NCFE.
