Energy Advice (Home) Certificate Level 3 (QCF)

This qualification has arisen from Government initiatives to encourage improved household energy efficiency and sustainability. The Home Energy Adviser role is seen as an integral part of the Green Deal scheme implemented by the current Government. Advisers visit homes to undertake an energy assessment of the property, identifying recommendations that will help to reduce costs and lower carbon dioxide emissions. This qualification is recognised by the Government as a route to practicing in this role.
