· Installation of Electrical Equipment
· Electrical Testing and Commissioning
· Building Electrical Maintenance
· Analogue Electronics
· Digital Electronics
· Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs)

Progression
The Advanced Diploma is a level 3 qualification that satisfies the framework for Advanced Apprenticeships in Engineering. It also allows access on to HNC/D or Foundation Degree courses, however it is recommended that those who wish to follow this route should complete three further units:
· Advanced Maths
· Advanced Electrical and Electronic Principles
· Advanced Science
