About this course

This is a part-time course and aimed at students wanting a technical qualification for an apprenticeship scheme or to further their studies at Levels 3 and/or 4.

Options include the Pearson BTEC National Award in either Electrical or Mechanical Engineering at Level 3. Due to the high level of mathematics on the Level 3 programme, we would be looking for a Merit or Distinction grade on the 1st Diploma Programme overall, with distinction grades in the maths and science units.

GCSEs at Grade 4 (C) or above in maths, English and science.
