What will you study
Compulsory Units: Engineering Processes and Techniques * Applied Science and Mathematics * Working Practices * Key Skills. Plus optional 3 units from the following: CNC * CAD Fundamentals * Electronic Fundamentals * Robot Technology and Programme Controllers * Electronic Circuit Construction and Testing * Circuit Building.
How will you be assessed
Continuous throughout the course in the form of projects, assignments, case studies and coursework and written tests for each unit.
What can you do after course
On successful completion of this qualification you would then be able to choose a specialist area to continue with your studies, either as a full-time student or part-time trainee/apprentice.
Additional information
Students will need to supply their own overall, heavy footwear and scientific calculator. Key Skills/Functional Skills - you will be expected to undertake these at the appropriate level.
