Level Three Making things - and making them work - is at the core of a career as an Engineer. If you want a hands-on career working in a dynamic and fast-paced industry, then this Apprenticeship could be for you. Installing and Commissioning Engineers are responsible for installing engineering plant machinery from scemantic drawing, as well as running the machinery to ensure that it is fully operational. It's a demanding industry that requires attention to detail, the patience to build and rebuild complex systems and a lot of team work. But if you're willing to work hard, the Engineering indsutry provides a variety of rewarding career choices. As an Apprentice, you'll be earning while you learn, gaining new knowledge and skills as well as formal qualifications to give you a competitive edge in the Engineering industry. Advanced Apprenticeships are for learners employed as an Apprentice by a local company. Funding is guaranteed by the Government for the training, with priority being given to learners starting aged 16 to 18 years. We can assist in matching learners to employers.

Successful completion will greatly enhance job opportunities in the Engineering sector and progression onto a Higher Level Apprenticeship. You could also progress onto a range of Engineering courses at the College should you wish to further your studies.
The Advanced Apprenticeship Framework will include:
- Level 3 NVQ Diploma - completed at work with the help of a College assessor
- Level 3 Technical Diploma - completed at College with various tutors
- Functional Skills for maths, English and ICT level 2 - completed at College
- Personal Learning and Thinking Skills (PLTS) - completed at work alongside the NVQ3
- Employement Rights and Responsibilities (ERR) - completed at work and at College.
