About the Course
Wiring electrical circuitsThis evidence route covers the competence required to wire up simple electrical circuits such as lighting, power and control circuits that comply with appropriate regulations. You will be expected to prepare for the wiring activities by obtaining all the necessary components, cables, tools, equipment and any documentation that may be required.Engineering MachiningThis evidence route covers the competence involved in carrying out engineering machining activities and requires you to produce components using one type of machining process chosen from milling, turning or grinding. You will be expected to prepare for the machining activities by checking that you have all the necessary materials, tools, equipment and any documentation that may be required.It is possible that the additional following subject may also be included:-Working with sheet metal.This evidence route covers the competence required to produce components from sheet materials and requires you to be able to cut, form and join sheet metal using hand tools, portable power tools, guillotines, folding and/or rolling machines. You will be expected to prepare for the sheet metal cutting and forming activities by obtaining all the necessary materials, tools, equipment and any documentation that may be required.

No Course Fees for Under 19's. Over 19's must pay, or claim Level 2 or Level 3 Entitlement for FREE courses .
