Entry requirements


To study A-levels you need at least 5 A*- C grades at GCSE, including designated B grades and an average GCSE Score of at least 5. The designated B grade for this subject is English Language.


English is well respected by employers and university admissions officers. The top 20 universities in the UK (The Russell Group) will now only consider students with two facilitator subjects at A-level of which English is one.
