Course Content
Course Content: (Year 1) Introducing Analysis and Production
· One question will address literary and stylistic issues
· One question will be a language production task. Analysing Speech and its Representation
· One question will be an unseen comparative analysis of different speech texts
· One question will examine speech, style and theme within a set text Course Content: (Year 2) Exploring Comparison and Production -
· One question will be an unseen comparative analysis of three types of text
· One question will be a re-casting task for a given audience based on a set text Developing Comparison (Coursework Unit)
· One coursework task to be completed on an aspect of two texts (at least one poetry) chosen from a list ratified by the examination board
· Evidence of drafting is a requirement
