Classes will be at the following times: Morning, 9.30 am - 12 noon. Afternoon, 1.00 - 3.30 pm. Evening 6.30 - 9.00.

Introduction If you or someone you know has recently moved to the UK to live, learning English can be very important. You need language skills for everyday life as well as important things like work, education and healthcare. English classes can help you to feel more at home in the UK.
Classes will be at the following times:
Morning, 9.30 am - 12 noon
Afternoon, 1.00 - 3.30 pm
Evening 6.30 - 9.00 pm
You will take an assessment/exam at the end of your course. If you pass, you will get a certificate that proves you have a certain level of ability in English. The assessment/exam tests skills in the following areas:
Speaking and Listening at Entry 1, 2 & 3 and Level 1 & 2
Communicating successfully, asking and answering questions, having conversations, job interviews, making appointments.
Reading at Entry 1, 2 & 3 and Level 1 & 2
Reading different types of text, understanding newspapers and headlines, reading important documents from school or work, reading official and formal letters.
Writing at Entry 1, 2 & 3 and Level 1 & 2
Filling in forms with your personal details, writing a letter, writing a job application, real life writing skills.
There is a fee for the Skills for Life ESOL course.
