Pre-EntryThe course has been designed for unemployed candidates who are unable to speak, read and/or write in English or those with a low level of English who would like to attend intensive classes enabling them to communicate effectively with a variety of people. Classes focus on basic literacy, pronunciation and writing practice, reading simple texts and forms. Students also attend IT sessions where they can learn how to use computers. Employability Skills is a core element of the courses and students will be supported to develop their job searching as well as interview skills. Candidates may also undertake mock interviews with major employers and have the opportunity to be screened for a variety of job roles in key occupational areas.
