Training and Development Diploma - Environmental Awareness

The aim of this course is to give the individual an awareness of the issues surrounding the environment and our need to play our part in the prevention of further global warming. The objectives of the course are to define what is a global warming, investigate climate change, discuss the main issues surrounding pollution and the effects on the environment, outline UK Legislation, provide an overview of corporate responsibility, explore sustainable development, look at waste management and conservation of resources, provide an introduction to Environmental Management Systems (EMS).
The information provided will support the individual with issues surrounding the environment and the knowledge to be able to draw up an EMS (Environmental Management System). You will receive full personal tutor support by mail and email. Our student support team are also available for any other queries that you may have whilst completing your course. You can be assured that support is available for your home study course, so there is no need to struggle or feel isolated during your studies. You have the freedom to start the course at any time and continue your studies at your own pace for a period of up to 12 months from initial registration. The Training and Development Diploma ASET Level 3 complete with Environmental Awareness course is assessed by completion of a series of tutor marked activities that are designed to develop and reinforce your understanding of the key principles and concepts and how to apply these to your training. In addition you will be required to complete a final practical assignment which is to prepare and deliver training programmes using your Environmental Awareness seminar resource on two separate occasions to a minimum group size of six attendees. The Training and Development Diploma complete with Environmental Awareness course is fully accredited by the National Awarding Body ASET, who are recognised by the department for Education and Skills and by the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority in Britain.
