Special Features:
Environmental conservation is the study of the natural world and its interaction with people. In the second year the study tour will be an opportunity to develop field research methods and produce a project in an area of individual choice.

Related MSc and PhD study. Gain employment with organisations such as Natural England, The Centre for Hydrology and Ecology, DEFRA, Forestry Commission, the Rural Conservation Agency, the Farming and Wildlife Advisory Group, County Wildlife Trusts, national parks, forestry companies, environmental consultancies and the Environment Agency. In addition a number of our students go on to careers abroad.
Entry Requirements:
140 points at Advanced level (80 at A2) or equivalent OR National Diploma at MPP OR 2 National Awards at Merit OR NVQ Level 3 in a related subject with a satisfactory reference OR "Life Experience" will also be taken into account when considering applications from mature students OR Holders of Higher National Diploma in Countryside will be considered for direct entry into the second year of the programme. Holders of a Foundation Degree in Countryside will be considered for direct entry into the third year, after successful completion of a short briding programme. An admission assignment may be used in certain circumstances.
