  • Effluent discharge (to surface and foul water systems)
  • Pollution Prevention and Control (PPC) regime
  • Contaminated land regime
  • Statutory nuisance (noise, odour, etc)
  • Oil storage (secondary containment requirements)

Workshops and case studies will help to reinforce understanding of key legal requirements and provide realistic experience of the practical measures needed to demonstrate 'duty of care', to classify hazardous waste, and to comply with licences, consents and permits.
