Programme overview This MSc degree in environmental management, specialising in countryside and protected area management, will enable you to acquire and develop a broad understanding of the knowledge and skills needed for managing protected areas of the environment, including natural, cultural and recreational sites. It will provide you with the key skills and management tools necessary for resolving conflicting pressures and demands in protected areas. Course structure
This MSc degree consists of 2 core modules (30 credits each) taught in alternate years and 2 core residential schools (15 credits each) held in April each year.
You must also select 2 option modules (15 credits each) from the list of options below.
The MSc is completed by a 60-credit dissertation, making 180 credits in total.
