Our Foundation Degree and BSc (Hons) programmes in Environmental Science (Wastes and Resources Technology) will develop your critical and informed awareness of contemporary wastes and resources management issues, preparing you for a variety of challenges in this burgeoning field. Course programme

The underpinning philosophy of the Foundation Degree and BSc (Hons) programmes in Environmental Science (Wastes, Resources Technology) is to integrate theoretical knowledge and understanding and to develop transferable skills directly applicable to the work context in order to serve future employability needs.

Throughout the course you will develop a detailed knowledge and conceptual understanding of the key aspects of wastes, resources and technology, allowing you to accurately deploy established techniques of analysis and enquiry within the workplace.

Modules of study include Sustainable Approaches to Life Cycle Assessment; Geographical Information Systems and Decision-Making; Dissertation; Advances in Wastes Technology and Engineering; Scientific and Technical Developments in Contamination and Pollution Control.
