What you need to know
How will I study?

This exciting new course includes a range of modules chosen to give learners an unrivalled understanding of the equine sports and coaching industry together with the managerial skills necessary to succeed in business. With a substantial practical element, modules include horse husbandry, equine sports medicine, develop and implement a training programme for a performance horse and management of performance horse.
How will I be taught?

You will benefit from a comprehensive programme of academic study skills throughout the course, and will gain the opportunity to work with the horses on our equine yard. You will be taught by experienced tutors supported by a dedicated yard team. Learning is achieved through a mixture of group and individual work, lectures, presentations, project work, practical horse handling, dissections, laboratory experiments, study trips and guest speakers.
How will I be assessed?

You will be assessed through a mixture of written assignments and reports, poster and oral presentations, practical assessments, discussions and debates.
