ESOL Entry 1 to Level 2 (Full Time)

Is this course for me?
These English courses are for people whose first language is not
English and who would like to improve their English.
What will I study?
Students will develop their reading, writing, speaking and
listening skills. On some courses students also learn IT and
numeracy.

What can I do next?
This can lead to courses in further and higher education.
What are the entry requirements?
You will need to attend an interview and assessment at the
College so we can place you in the right course for your level of
English.
How will I be assessed?
Assessment is carried out in various way during the course
including assignments, class work and examinations.
What will it cost?
If you are under 19 and a home student, in most circumstances,
you don't pay any fees. However, you will need to find this out
when you apply.
