ESOL Entry Level 2 - Evening
(Elementary)(2009/2010)
Study Method:
You will study ESOL Skills for Life materials, work in pairs and groups and use a wide variety of activities and materials such as CDs, DVDs and computers to help you learn.
You will also have access to the ICT Room where you can practice your pronounciation and listening and work on your grammar.
Duration :6 hrs over 2 nights per week (days and times of course to be advised)
Who the Course is For:
Speakers of other languages who need to improve their English
Assessment:
At the end of each term you will take a Cambridge ESOL exam. There are exams in Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening. You will also complete an Assignment each term.
Entry Requirements:
Entry Level 2 exam certificates or assessment at Entry Level 2
Content:
You will develop your English listening, speaking, reading and writing skills, and improve vocabulary and grammar. You will learn computer skills combined with ESOL learning and use video, digital cameras and ESOL computer programmes.
You will be prepared for the national ESOL Skills for Life exams, which are in Reading, Writing and Speaking and Listening.
You will use computers to help learn English and to use Moodle, our virtual learning environment, which contains lots of information and activities that you can get to from any computer that has access to the internet..
